WPG 360 Dial Null Reference Exception

Jun 6, 2009 at 2:12 PM

Hi I'm getting a Null Reference exception on the WPF version of the Dial360 control in the method- SetFirstChildSplineDoubleKeyFrameTime.  The null reference is in relation to Storyboard sb. Am I doing something wrong here?

Are you runnhing against the last release or the top of tree? If you can paste some

code that reproduces the issues I will have a look at it as I am working on the dashboards this week end

Hi thanks for getting back so quickly,
  Turns out I'm only experiencing the problem when linking against the release build of the WPF controls.  Debug works without issue. Code below, it might look a little sparse but that's really all I'm doing with it atm.

XAML snippit:
<Viewbox Grid.Column="0" Grid.Row="0">
<my:Dial360 Maximum="100" Minimum="0" Value="76" Name="FirstDial"/>
</Viewbox>

<font size="2" color="#0000ff"><font size="2" color="#0000ff">

<

</font></font><font size="2" color="#0000ff">

</font>

Button Grid.Column="0" Grid.Row="1" Click="Button_Click">Click Me</Button>

C# Snippit:

<font size="2" color="#0000ff"><font size="2" color="#0000ff">

private

</font></font><font size="2" color="#0000ff">

</font>

void Button_Click(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
{
    FirstDial.Value += 10;
}<font size="2">

</font>

I'm receiving exactly the same error, and with the same behavior.

Debug code works, release code does NOT.

Did you solve this problem?

any workaround?
